In July 2018 we received the first radiation treatment quality certification for the Dominican Republic issued by the EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR RADIOTHERAPY & ONCOLOGY (ESTRO).

We have achieved this certification after being evaluated by the EQUALESTRO Dosimetric Laboratory, endorsing the correct distribution of the dose of our center for the intensity modulated radiotherapy technique (IMRT), demonstrating that our institution meets the quality and safety standards required by the EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR RADIOTHERAPY & ONCOLOGY (ESTRO) for radiotherapy and radiosurgery centers operating within the European Community.

This new achievement is added to the two certificates obtained in the years 2016 and 2017, evaluated and issued by the IROC Laboratory attached to the most important American institution for the treatment of cancer MD ANDERSON CANCER CENTER, where prostate cancer treatments were endorsed and radiosurgery procedures for brain tumors.

International certifications are tools that guarantee patients that the institutions that offer services in the country are carrying out their procedures under updated protocols and parameters, giving citizens access to modern medicine and treatment solutions similar to those available in institutions. of reference in the sector that issues them.
